Recently I've take up metal-smiting as a hobby, and i have noticed something about myself, I learn new things and drop them once it gets way too repeating and effortless. Crossstiching ill pick it up and work on it once in a while, but metal-smiting requires effort, time and loads of using fun tools like an acetylene torch. Right now I'm in my 4th week in my 10 week class at Lillstreet art center, my instructor is Neil something big gay guy, hes cool also knows ALOT about metal-smiting. Another project i am working on is a oil painted sketch book cover similar to my first oil painting of a fish in a vial, i am doing the same thing as on the canvas but on my school sketchbook. I grew my hair out and its right below the top of my shoulders and a ponytail seem pretty cool, so ill go with that and see how it goes, i might post a pic later. I also lost about 40 pounds since last year, I'm hovering between 190 and 200 but its always withing those two numbers, yay vegetarian diet! At the studio i'm making a ring out of quarters, a 2 layered band ring and i plan to melt about 250$ of scrap gold and about 100$ of scrap silver into something once i get the chance to, and now im going back to paint the 2nd and 3ed layer of gesso on my sketchbook!
